Artist in Residence
The purpose of our Artist in Residence (AIR) Program is to nourish the land energetically, intensify our creative alignment with Gaia Sophia (Earth), and be present devotionally and dynamically with this land. This land is a wonderful muse, lover, and creatrix. The creative relationship is one of mutuality, enhancement, and generosity.
Artists are welcomed via 10-week modules to create in and with the unique culture and sacred landscape of Hummingbird. All art forms are welcome. The art must relate to this landscape and to the soul of Gaia Sophia.

Past Programs
From the summer of 1998 until the spring of 2022 a wide spectrum of programs were held in this healing and transformational environment. Partnerships were formed with Global Family, Pachamama Alliance, Earth Guardians, Living Co-creation, and Collective Legacy serving youth leadership, ecological sustainability, spiritual growth, artistic expression, and co-creative community building. Over the course of decades, permaculture certification courses, biodynamic training, vision quests, and retreats addressing conscious evolution were experienced. We have hosted hundreds of visitors, held work parties, and rented our facility to many aligned organizations.
