Many who come to Hummingbird feel more connected to their soul essence through experiences with the Land and Community. Cultivation of a soul centered way of being in harmony with nature is a core element of our culture at Hummingbird. Creative soul expressions are encouraged through the arts, ceremonies, projects, and educational offerings.
Living Laboratory
The principles of Co-creation and Conscious Evolution are foundational to our culture. We hold our Community as a living laboratory in which transformational experiences take place. In our interpersonal relationships, we strive to communicate and resolve conflicts with consciousness, taking self responsibility for our actions and reactions. We value personal and collective growth, as well as loving compassionate acceptance of where we are in the present moment.
Awakening Our
True Nature
All of our residents are dedicated to awakening to our true nature, and engage in frequent spiritual practices, either individually or in small group configurations. We do not have an overarching spiritual discipline or dogmatic religion that we all engage in; however, each of us experiences a spiritual connection to the land and to the natural world. We honor diversity and welcome all cultures and religions to Hummingbird.
